Billing questions
What happens when I run out of credits?
On paid plans, overage is billed at your plan's per-1,000 rate at the end of the month. You can set a hard cap per API key or for the whole account, after which requests return a 402 instead of costing money. The Free plan simply pauses until the next refill.
Do credits roll over?
On Starter and above, unused monthly credits roll over for 60 days. Pay-as-you-go credit packs never expire.
Is there pay-as-you-go?
Yes. Any account can buy credit packs starting at $20 for 10,000 verifications. Packs are used after monthly credits run out and before overage applies.
Are unknown results free on every plan?
Yes. If we cannot get a definitive answer from the receiving server after retries, you are not charged. Re-verifying the same address within 30 days is also free.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. Annual billing is available on every paid plan with two months free. Switch from the billing page in the dashboard.
Do you offer a reseller or agency plan?
Scale includes sub-accounts with separate keys, usage, and spend caps, which covers most agency setups. For white-label or volumes above 1M a month, contact us.
