Type an email address below and VeriDock tells you whether it can receive mail. The check runs live against the domain's mail server, so you see a real answer and not a guess from a regex.
Every address goes through the same pipeline our API uses. That means the result you see here matches what you get in production.
Each address gets one of four statuses. Deliverable means the mailbox exists and is safe to send to. Undeliverable means it will bounce, so remove it. Risky means it might work but carries risk, for example a catch-all domain or a disposable address. Unknown means the mail server did not answer, and you are never billed for unknown results.
Alongside the status you get a reason code, a score from 0 to 100, and a plain-English summary, so you can decide what to do without reading documentation.
Mailbox providers watch your bounce rate. A list with even a few percent of invalid addresses can push your domain toward the spam folder, and that damage affects every email you send afterwards, including password resets and receipts.
Checking addresses at signup stops bad data entering your list. Checking an existing list before a campaign removes the addresses that would have bounced.
The checker above is for single addresses. To clean a whole list, upload a CSV to the bulk verifier. To check addresses as users type them, call the API from your signup form. Both use the same engine and the same 250 free monthly checks.
