We make one of these tools, so read this with that in mind. We have not run an accuracy benchmark across them, so this guide does not rank them on accuracy. It sorts them by what each is actually good for, based on their public pages. Each section links to a full comparison with sources and the date we checked.

For a very large list at the lowest price: MillionVerifier

MillionVerifier sells one-time packs that get very cheap at scale, at $449 for a million checks, and it credits back catch-all results. If you have a large list to clean and do not need much else, start here.

For compliance and a broad suite: ZeroBounce

ZeroBounce is one of the best-known names, with a long list of certifications and extra tools beyond verification. It costs far more per check at most volumes, which larger companies with security reviews may find worthwhile.

For finding and verifying together: Hunter or Mails.so

Hunter is mainly a prospecting tool, and verification shares a credit pool with its email searches. Mails.so includes an email finder on every paid plan and has an unlimited plan at €498 a month. If you need to find addresses as well, compare these two. VeriDock has no email finder.

For credits that never expire: Bouncer or Emailable

Both offer pay-as-you-go credits that do not expire, which suits occasional cleaning. Bouncer also returns a toxicity score and has an EU focus, so European teams may want a look.
