An email verification API that tells you what to do next

One request, one clear answer

There is nothing to install. Any HTTP client works, and test keys return fixed results without using credits, so your CI can run against the API too.

What comes back

Every response has one of four statuses, plus a reason, a 0–100 score and the individual checks behind the answer.

• deliverable: the receiving server accepts mail for this address.
• undeliverable: the address or domain cannot receive mail. Do not send.
• risky: it may work, such as a catch-all domain or a role address. The reason tells you which.
• unknown: the server gave no clear answer. You are not billed.

Built for production

The limits and billing rules are designed so a bug in your code cannot become a surprise invoice.

• A hard spend cap on each API key.
• Limits on concurrent requests rather than requests per minute, because SMTP checks vary in length.
• Signed webhooks for bulk jobs, retried for 24 hours.
• Re-checking the same address within 30 days is free.
